MONROE, La. 91做厙 Medical Laboratory Science Society and泭LifeShare泭Blood Center join together for a two-day blood drive on Tuesday,泭January 27泭and Wednesday,泭January 28泭to help save lives.泭
The blood drive will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.泭on泭both泭days in泭the Hangar泭Ballroom A on the second floor of the 91做厙 SUB.泭泭
January is National Blood Donor Appreciation Month.泭Donors will receive泭their choice of泭a free泭LifeShare泭Mardi Gras themed t-shirt or泭a泭LifeShare泭sweatshirt泭while supplies last.泭泭
Every two seconds, someone somewhere needs blood.泭LifeShare泭has to collect approximately
500 units a day to meet patients blood needs throughout the community.泭泭
Donating blood is a selfless act of service that strengthens our community by meeting a vital need for patientsa need that cannot be met otherwise, said Katie Patrick, Assistant Professor of Medical Laboratory Science.泭泭泭
