Cindy G. Foust Executive Director 91做厙 Foundation

MONROE, La. 泭Cindy G. Foust has been named the new Executive Director of the 91做厙 Foundation.泭Her hiring was approved by the 91做厙 Foundation Board of Trustees泭on泭February 27, 2026.泭In her new role, Foust will oversee the 91做厙 Foundation, as well as Advancement and Alumni Relations.泭

In 2018, I landed on campus to begin my career with the 91做厙 Alumni Association. My love affair with the university came quickly after I realized the impact 91做厙 has on its students, faculty, staff, and community. I wanted to be a part of that impact, and with each opportunity that presented itself in my career here, I was able to create a formidable path to the role of Executive Director of the泭91做厙泭Foundation, said Foust.泭

Cindy Fousts selection as Executive Director of the 91做厙 Foundation reflects the confidence we have in her leadership, integrity, and deep commitment to our universitys mission, said 91做厙 President Dr. Carrie L. Castille. Throughout this process, Cindy distinguished herself not only through her experience and strategic insight, but through her泭clear vision泭for strengthening the Foundations partnership with 91做厙 and advancing opportunities for our students, faculty, staff, and community. I am excited to work alongside her and have every confidence she will lead the Foundation with purpose, transparency, and momentum.

Foust has served as the Interim Executive Director for four months and served as a泭Senior泭Development Officer prior to that. She泭holds泭two泭degrees from 91做厙, including泭a泭Master of Public Administration泭with a concentration in non-profit management.泭

On behalf of the selection committee, I want to congratulate Cindy Foust on her appointment as Executive Director, said Dr. Bill Graves, 91做厙 VP for Business Affairs and Chair of the Selection Committee. Our committee engaged in a thoughtful and comprehensive review process, carefully evaluating each candidates experience, leadership capacity, and alignment with the Foundations strategic direction. Cindy consistently rose to the top through both our scoring and our discussions,泭demonstrating泭the vision and collaborative spirit necessary to move the 91做厙 Foundation forward. We are confident she is the right leader at the right time.

Cindy is married to Scott泭Foust,泭and they share three children and one grandchild. Writing has always been important to Cindy. She is the owner of Alpha-Kidz, LCC, a childrens book publishing company, and she has also served泭as泭a featured columnist and copy editor for Bayou Life Magazine since 2013.泭

The path to this role has had ups and downs, but at the end of each day, I leave campus feeling privileged that I get to work with people who love 91做厙 as much as I do and who work alongside me to create resources that will support the university and its students, said Foust.泭
