91做厙 set to welcome incoming students to PREP beginning June 10

MONROE, La. 泭91做厙 is gearing up to welcome incoming泭freshmen泭for its annual Preview, Registration, and Enrollment Program, better known as PREP, with the first session kicking off on June 10, 2026.泭PREP is a two-day orientation program designed to help incoming泭freshmen泭make a smooth transition to college life at 91做厙.泭

At PREP, future Warhawks will register for their first college courses, meet their泭first college friends, and泭learn泭the Warhawk Way.泭

Theres nothing like the excitement and energy of our incoming freshmen at PREP, said 91做厙 President Dr. Carrie L. Castille. This is an amazing opportunity泭for our next generation of students to fall in love with the campus where泭theyll泭spend the next four years. Our PREP staff does an outstanding job泭of making these students feel welcome and getting泭them prepared for their first semester.泭Im泭looking forward to seeing all the泭new faces泭at each of the sessions this summer.泭

PREP sessions are led by PREP泭staff,泭a group of students who are trained throughout the year to prepare incoming泭freshmen泭for their 91做厙 experience and泭ensure泭they have what they need to succeed.泭

PREP is the most wonderful time of the year for our staff, said Ahmaad Solmone, Director of泭Orientation and Special Projects, and leader of the PREP staff. We strive to make these two days a fun and memorable experience for泭all of泭our incoming泭freshmen泭and transfer students who attend.泭Were泭looking forward to another泭great year泭of泭showing that the best is on the bayou at 91做厙.

PREP sessions will be held on the following dates:

  • June 10-11 (Scholarship Students Only)

  • June 24-25 (full)

  • July 8-9

  • July 15-16

Sessions are limited in size and are first-come, first-served.泭To attend a PREP session, participants must complete the online registration at泭.泭Students with questions can call the PREP hotline at 1-800-372-5127 or email泭prep@ulm.edu.泭

The Parent Orientation Program, or POP, will run concurrently with each PREP session. POP is designed to泭assist泭parents with pivotal information and resources, which prepare both parents and students for college.泭
