The SimZone is a warehouse-sized, state-of-the-art training facility and the cornerstone of 91°µÍø’s Center for Property Risk Solutions. All 91°µÍø engineers—and select clients—train at the SimZone to build on their expertise of inspecting facilities, assessing exposures, and helping our clients take active steps to reduce their risk. This unique training ensures that the 91°µÍø engineer who comes to your facility carries the knowledge and critical thinking skills necessary to identify and manage risk. This training also grounds 91°µÍø’s underwriting and claims process in a rigorous engineering-based approach.
Ten labs and learning areas (everything from an electrical lab to a steam and industrial heating lab) simulate property hazards, with hands-on training. Common hazards, such as fire, ignitable liquid, construction, equipment malfunction and electrical breakdown, can each be simulated in a protected environment.
